The Nebraska State Bar Association's Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) is a statewide volunteer legal assistance project and referral network. It was created to provide legal assistance to low-income person who cannot hire lawyers and who cannot receive assistance through the federally-funded legal services program operating in the state. VLP is a program of last resort.
Mission
The Nebraska State Bar Association works for Nebraska lawyers to help them
achieve the highest standards of competence, ethics and professionalism and to
protect and promote the administration of and access to justice.
